New Client & Booking Requirements
Mandatory Forms
• All new clients are required to fill out and sign a Client Intake Form and a Liability Release Form prior to their service starting.
Appointment Confirmation Process
To fully secure and confirm your appointment, please complete the following steps:

"Hi Malika, I booked with you, My name is [Name], for [0/00/] at [0:00]. I am requesting the salon location for our appointment."

Once I reply with the exact address, your appointment is officially locked in.
​​
• Deposits: A non-refundable $2–$25 deposit is required online at the time of booking.
• Remaining Balance: The remaining balance must be paid in CASH ONLY.
NO PAYMENT APPS AVAILABLE!
• New Clients: All new clients must PAY the remaining cash balance BEFORE the service begins to ensure total transparency. Please ensure you have the cash in hand before entering the salon. If someone else is paying for your service, please coordinate and finalize the transfer of funds prior to your arrival.

• Refunds: All sales are final. There are absolutely, NO REFUNDS WHEN BOOKING APPOINTMENT WITH MALIKA MARIE. If I cancel you will receive your deposit back.

Arrival, Punctuality & Guest Policies
• Arrival Text Only: Please text me upon your arrival.

Please walk into the building and sit in the waiting area. Text my number wait patiently DO NOT RING THE DOORBELL! If I don’t reply back immediately, I’m probably with a client or cleaning up and I will come out to get you.

• No Early Arrivals: Please do not arrive 5, 20, or 30 minutes early, as I utilize this time for my scheduled lunch and scheduled clients and sanitation. I will not be ready to service you until your exact appointment time.

• Grace Period & Late Fees: We both receive a 15-minute grace period. Anything past 20 minutes. You will have to pay a new deposit and reschedule where I may give you the option to wait.

Rescheduling:
• No reschedules unless I approve.
• Guest Policy: Strictly NO extra guests or children are allowed in the salon due to space and safety regulations. UNLESS YOU ASK ME AND I APPROVE.

• Age Requirements: minor must enter the facility with a parent or guardian. consent, release forms, and client intake forms required or the appointment will be canceled. You must have a valid identification.

Hair Preparation & Condition Guidelines
• Shampoo Conditioner Blowout IS INCLUDED WITH EVERY SERVICE!
please come completely detangled free of any buildup, dirt or debris.
• Hair must be 100% TANGLE FREE roots to ends. NO KNOTS OR MATTING WILL BE CHARGED DETANGLE FEE.

ALL CHEMICAL SERVICES COME WITH STYLING AND DEEP CONDITIONING.

Hair Must be completely detangled ready for Shampoo! ​
• Minimum Hair Length: You must have at least 3 inches of hair all around for all braiding and sew-in services.

•If you happen to have more hair than normal, please understand fees can apply due to me having other clients to service in a certain amount of time to do it. keep me updated.

Safety, Jewelry & Piercings
• NO Earrings: Please remove all earrings prior to your appointment, especially for lace services.
• Face & Ear Piercings: Any piercings around the eyes, ears, temples, or face that cannot be removed must have a Band-Aid securely placed over them before your service begins. This is a non-negotiable safety policy to prevent combs, brushes, or clothing from snagging and pulling your piercings. (Excludes standard nose and lip piercings).

• Liability: Malika Marie/ Malika Marie Hair is not responsible for any damage or neglect to your hair/style after you leave the salon, nor are we responsible for any personal items lost, stolen, or damaged during your appointment.
Media & Marketing Release
• Please arrive picture and video ready. By booking, you grant Malika Marie full permission to take photos and videos of the finished style to use for social media marketing and portfolio documentation. This policy also serves to protect both parties against financial disputes and is entirely non-negotiable. Reference photos of your desired look are always highly encouraged!

Hair, Lace & Product Requirements
Quality Standards
• Transparent or HD Lace ONLY!!!!!!!
• No Amazon Bundles: I do not recommend or prefer Amazon hair BUNDLES for sew ins due to poor hair quality.
• TikTok/Shein/Amazon Friendly (With Limits): While I will work with budget-friendly hair, I do not recommend wasting your money on low-quality Hair and lace. I will not install these specific vendor units after 2 installs, as the lace becomes too dark, thin, or balding.
• Wavy/Deep Wave Hair: I do not flat iron deep wave or wavy hair extensions.
• Going Over Others' Work: I may be able to reinstall another stylist's work. You must text me clear photos of the front side of the lace (not the inside, and not just the hair) that will be visible so I can evaluate it first.

• Braiding Hair: Outre X-Pression Pre-Stretched Hair ONLY!

Wigs & Inventory for Sale
• I offer an Excellent & Affordable Collection of raw and affordable wigs, frontals, closures, and track hair.
• All Hair is Located under the "Lace Installs & Sew-Ins" tab.
• Ordering Hair: Hair are not kept on hand; 3–7 business days to arrive, normally comes in 4 business Days. shipping is $30-$45 2-day shipping $50-$60 hair is from Thailand Please book well in advance., text me immediately to finalize. Please do not purchase the wig or hair online purchase it through text message 270-438-0669. prices are the booking page.
• Note: These heavily discounted Hair prices are exclusively for clients booking and getting installation service with me. Non-clients purchasing a wig must pay full retail price.
Last-Minute Bookings & Add-On Fees

• 24-Hour Last-Minute Bookings: If you need a last-minute appointment, feel free to reach out to my number 270-438-0669. As I will always have appointments available.
• Styling Upcharges: Tedious styling, such as small wand curls, intricate braids, or time-consuming techniques, will incur an additional styling upcharge to compensate for the extra time required.
